If you're wondering how you got a wart in the first place, then that is an excellent question to ask. These are usually caused by the Human Papilloma Virus or HPV. This virus basically spreads when it enters your body through cuts on your skin. It can be transmitted any part of the body which accounts for different types of warts.

There are many different remedies that you can use to get rid of this condition, but using a natural or homemade option is usually the easiest. It has other added advantages such as being cheap, affordable and readily available.

One of the first remedies that we will look at is known as tea tree oil. This is a well known substance that is very beneficial and has many health benefits. However, when you are using these to remove warts, you should definitely only purchase high grade types as these will give you the most value for your dollar. The best way to apply it is to simply rub into the affected area about two times per day. This should help to clear any warts you may have in a matter of a few weeks.

There is another great remedy that you can try that involves duct tape. The best thing about this remedy is that you can find duct tape in just about every home and is readily available. Simply cut a piece of duct tape and apply it to the affected areas. Then, the heat that is generated will act to soften any warts and help to remove them much easier. When removing the tape, make sure to do so carefully to prevent any tearing.

You can also use vinegar as an excellent method of removing warts. You can do this my soaking a piece of cotton ball in a strong vinegar solution and then attach it to the area using some tape. You should leave it for the entire night and place it as above for the next few weeks. This should help to clear up your warts in a matter of a few weeks.

One other method you can try combines both vinegar and onions. The recipe involves slicing a few onions in circular pieces and then allowing them to soak in some vinegar. You can leave these onions to soak for about twelve hours or overnight for maximum effect. Then, you use a piece of tape to completely secure the onions to your warts. However, when taping them, make sure that you do not leave any areas for air to enter and it must be completely sealed in.

If these remedies do not help then you should definitely seek out a few over the counter solutions. There are many different types of creams, gels and solutions that you can use that are proven to work. If these also fail to work, then you should definitely see a qualified medical professional.

We have just covered a few wart removal methods that should definitely help you to deal with this problem. There are many others that you can try as these are just the beginning!
