The most famous art of Japan is 'Martial arts.' There is a resemblance between Brazilian Jiu Jitsu(BJJ) and Japanese martial arts. Gear can be heavyweight or lightweight. Lightweight gear is more comfortable to wear in a competition. Both heavyweight and lightweight types of BJJ kimono are made using same quality of fabric.The weight of the gear is one of the important factors one can not avoid while choosing the Jiu Jitsu Gi. It is very easy to find the which is heavyweight in character and which is not. Single weave Gis are lightweight in nature and others are heavyweight. There is only one factor that distinguishes single weave Gi from the double weave Gi and that is the quantity of fabric used in the making. Quantity of fabric used in the making of double weave Gis is more than the one used in the single weave Gis. It is advisable to choose single weave Gi, when you want to participate in a competition.

You should select the brand that offers reasonable price. That is why, before selecting a right brand, one should see a variety of brands and then take an informed decision. Many people prefer blue or white. In order to prevent BJJ Gi from being ripped off so easily, one has to make sure that it has capability and strength to endure.
